Amanda Wingvalley, the matriarch of a southern family is anxious to marry off her youngest son Lawrence - a young man plauged with psychosomatic illnesses.
When her son Tom brings home a "feminine caller" for Lawrence to meet, it soon becomes obvious that this will not work out. The laughter is non-stop in this delightful spoof of "The Glass Menagerie".
