Dramatizing his time on Sid Caesar's "Your Show of Shows", Neil Simon's "Laughter on the 23rd Floor" encapsulates the trials of a group of young comedy writers during the turbulent McCarthy era and the early days of television. With the fictional "Max Prince Show" as background, the story follows a novice young writer, Lucas.
