She goes out on a blind date with Tony, a friend of a friend.

Tony quickly becomes infatuated by her and moves beyond normal romantic pursuit.

As Theresa gets increasingly disturbed by his persistence, her secretary, Harriet, can't understand her reluctance, but her boss, Howard and co-worker, Mercer try to support and assist her.

In observing the effect on Theresa, Howard and Mercer are forced to examine the line between romantic pursuit and obsession, and question whether they ever crossed that line with other women.

Theresa summons the police, and Detective Madeline Beck responds, but is it too late?
