Hitless for years, Sidney's desperation for
new success is heightened by the fact that he has drained his wealthy wife's bank account.

Suddenly, when his life seems at its lowest point, Clifford Anderson, a student in Sidney's summer writing seminar,
sends him a promising manuscript. "Deathtrap" seems to be the answer to Sidney's prayers.

Sidney and his wife Myra invite Clifford to their New England home. When Clifford agrees to collaborate with Sidney,
a classic thriller combining suspense and humor is set in motion.
