A young lawyer has been sent to the home of a client, a ninety-two-year-old woman to sort out her finances.

The older woman, frail, and perhaps a bit senile, resists and is of no help.,

Along with the old woman's paid companion/caretaker, the lawyer tries to convince her that she must concentrate on the matters at hand.
Nancy Klimpel

The older woman, in her beautifully appointed bedroom, prods, discusses and bickers with the two younger women.

Her long life is laid out for display, no holds barred. She cascades from regal and charming to vicious and wretched as she wonders about and remembers her life: her husband and their cold, passionless marriage; her son and their estrangement.

How did she become this? Who is she?

These questions are answered during a riveting second act where her life, memories and reminiscences, which were pondered in the first act are now examined, questioned, and at last, understood.

Come join us and see why this critically acclaimed play earned Albee his third Pulitzer Prize.

Please Note: This play contains adult language and subject matter and is not recommended for children.
